Story & Message:
You can never predict the outcome of your actions. Even tiny seemingly unimportant ones. Whatever you act on today will eventually disappear, but it will first affect the world around you.
From my project “Kids in the Pool”:
Light, sparkles, fascination with what's in front of you in this very moment, and new hopes for the future. When something strikes you as interesting or beautiful, first live the experience. Like a child does. Without questions. Only then make attempts to understand and come up with "whys". The project was created "on the fly" when the artist, using her daughters as models, almost illegally got into a public pool in one of the major cities in Europe to capture the precious moments when we live our life fully experiencing a blend of joy, fear, amazement, curiosity, and rapture, all at the same time. Wouldn't life be more fun if we treated it as a pool welcoming us to play in it?
Available in sizes and editions:
43 x 50 cm (16.9 x 19.7 in.) - 4
86 x 100 cm (33.9 x 39.4 in.) - 4
